About St. Johns High School
St. Johns High School, located in the rural community of St. Johns in northeastern Arizona, opened in 1926, and is the only high school under the jurisdiction of St. Johns Unified School District. The school was moved to a new facility and current campus in 1981. St. Johns High School has a long-standing tradition of excellence in academics and extracurricular activities, maintaining state championships in various athletics and organizations, and an "A" grade with the state. The 300 students enrolled in St. Johns High School have access to a variety of core English, math, science, and social studies courses, and elective options, which include band, choir, orchestra, visual arts, automotive, culinary, construction, and agricultural courses, as well as opportunities for dual enrollment in college math, concurrent enrollment in Spanish and English with the local community college (NPC), and a variety of technical programs through the local trade school (NAVIT).
